There is something so incredibly appealing to me about seeing craftsmen make beautiful objects by hand. Here too, I find the juxtaposition of the wood supporting the metal, the analog encasing the digital, wonderful.

Another example of complexity and simplicity. They took something that can be complicated - thermostats in this case - and made them simpler to use; however behind that simplicity there’s a lot of complexity.
